The INT chairs the IMPACT Centre of Competence (www.digitisation.eu). This is a non-profit organization made up of public and commercial organizations with the aim of making the digitization of historical material “better, faster and cheaper”. The centre provides data, tools, services and expertise in document imaging, language technology and the processing of historical text material. Since 2019, the IMPACT Centre of Competence is also a CLARIN Knowledge Centre and organizes the DATECH conferences. Work relating to digitization that is carried out as part of CLARIAH+ is completed in collaboration with the Centre.
