As one of the three CLARIN B Centres in the Netherlands and the only CLARIN B Centre for Belgium, the INT is a technical centre (B-centre) of the European distributed Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure CLARIN-ERIC.
It contributes to CLARINs aim of achieving a sustainable, integrated, interoperable research infrastructure of language resources and language technology, facilitating and promoting the use of data-driven and computational techniques in the humanities, through best practices such as the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).
The INT offers the following CLARIN related services:
- The CLARIN Portal of the INT and Taalmaterialen currently give researchers access to language resources and tools from the INT and other CLARIN Members.
- The CLARIN Knowledge Centre K-Dutch provides information on the Dutch language and available data and tools. An important component of K-Dutch is its helpdesk, where researchers can get advice on linguistic research via the wiki-page and through customized consulting.
- CLARIN Depositing Centre: The INT also offers an infrastructure to researchers or institutions that want to share data or tools that were developed in research projects in the social sciences and humanities. For more information, contact servicedesk@ivdnt.org.
