Frank Landsbergen studied Dutch language and culture at Leiden University. He subsequently obtained his doctorate in Leiden through research into cultural-evolutionary models of language change.
Frank has been active as a computational linguist at the Dutch Language Institute (INT) since 2009, initially working on the Impact-project, followed by his involvement in several grammar-related projects, such as Taalportaal, the General Dutch Grammar (ANS) and Taaladvies. He is currently the Grammar project manager. Aside from his work in linguistics, Frank is also an illustrator and has created illustrations for several of the INT’s publications.
