Job van Doeselaar graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy with a degree in Fine Arts (Autonomous Visual Arts).
His passion for computers developed early, when he received a Commodore 64 as a child. Developing his first games on the C64 laid the foundation for his programming skills. Ever since, programming has been a constant in his life, leading to his focus on digital (media) art at the art academy. He exhibited his work in various galleries and museums both during and after his studies.
Alongside his artistic practices, he worked as a freelance (web) developer and IT consultant, contributing to a range of web applications and embedded system solutions.
Since March 2021, he continues to bring this creative and technical expertise to the Institute for the Dutch Language, where he is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing improvement of websites and web applications.
